Social Workers and the NDIS
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) allocates funds to participants for accessing reasonable and necessary support to enhance independence and facilitate choice and control.
Social Workers play a crucial role across the lifespan, aiding individuals in complex decision-making processes and empowering them to improve their independence, quality of life, well-being, and connections to family and community.
Elle Supports provides Social Work services funded under the NDIS, supporting participants with a range of services, including:
- Therapy and Counselling
- Focused Psychological Strategies
- Informed Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
- Bringing Up Great Kids attachment-based parenting program
- Somatic-based practices
- Psychosocial disability (mental health)
- Plan review reports
- Biopsychosocial and family assessments
- Individual planning
- Implementing plans to achieve individual goals
Elle Supports Therapeutic Social Work is led by Laxmi with BSW & BHS, an accredited social worker with membership in the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
Referrals can be made by individuals, guardians, support people, and NDIS support coordinators with the individual’s consent through email, phone, or text messaging.
Elle Supports offers mobile services in home, school, or approved day care settings, in clinics, and online nationwide via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
